SUMMER SQUASH

Summer squash and zucchini are very mild flavored and take on the taste of what's around them. These plants are prolific producers during the summer months so thankfully there are a number of different ways to use them up.

June - October

STORAGE TIPS:
Keep refrigerated and eat within 5 days. Sliced or shredded squash can be frozen for longer term storage.

CULINARY TIPS:

  • Make ribbons or noodles instead of pasta

  • Toss on the grill

  • Make zucchini bread

  • Add to curries
