We at Second Nature Farm want to revive the creativity and fun of eating. That's why we grow vegetables and varieties that not only taste great, but also can't be found in the supermarket. Such items include Ground Cherries, a husked berry with hints of pineapple; Rainbow Carrots, a custom blend of different colored carrots that are as pleasing to the eyes as to the taste buds; and Charentais Melons, French heirlooms with delectable flesh and heavenly fragrance.

In addition to these unusual foods, we also grow everything you'd expect from a good farm: heirloom tomatoes, watermelon, strawberries, lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers, basil, peppers, sugar snap peas, radishes, gourmet garlic, squash etc. And because we're a such a small farm, every vegetable receives the individualized care and attention care it deserves.

While we are not certified organic, we at Second Nature Farm pledge to abstain from using any pesticide, insecticide, or chemical fertilizer. We practice sustainable farming techniques such as cover cropping to return nutrients to the soil and crop rotation to minimize disease. We recognize that not everything we plant will look perfect or survive the long journey to harvest, but we'd rather produce fewer healthy vegetables than greater amounts of toxic ones. If you have any questions about our farming practices email Adam.
